Initial Visit & Consultation

Dr. Weingarden and staff provide a very thorough and informative initial visit for each patient in a gentle and caring fashion. We will ask about your goals, your concerns and your fears; we will treat you with respect as an individual. He will review your dental and medical history and gather all necessary diagnostics prior to providing a diagnosis or treatment recommendations. When necessary, this may include x-rays in addition to those sent by your dentist or models of your teeth. Generally, this visit lasts approximately 1 hour. Patients often remark that we provide one of the most thorough exams they have ever had.

Following your initial appointment, Dr. Weingarden will put together treatment options to meet your goals and specific needs. A consultation regarding treatment may follow at the same visit, however, in most cases the patient is asked to return for a consultation with our patient coordinator. This allows the patient to review all treatment options in a relaxed, non-clinical setting, with sufficient time to answer all questions. We encourage patients to bring a spouse, friend or significant other to their exam and consultation. We will discuss costs and treatment options prior to initiating therapy.
